This section details some practical use cases of the Federal Election Commission (FEC) Data and explains the necessary steps to rebuild these examples.

Here are the following use cases we will build from the FEC Data data source:

• The donor-age distribution for candidates and committees
• The donor-age distribution per age band
• The cumulative sum of unique individual donors over time
• The candidate-to-candidate comparison of the total amount of contributed dollars and unique donors sliced by age, gender, ethnicity, federal state and/or median household income per county
